My name is Michaeline McDonald and I have been an artist since I was a little girl. I have always had an affinity for animals and all things other worldly like fairies, mermaids, dragons, and unicorns. My favorite medium to paint with is soft pastels, but I also enjoy painting with acrylics, ink, and watercolors.
I have lived in many beautiful places in the Western United States including Arizona, Utah, California, Washington, and Oregon. And I have worked at many jobs working with animals or art. My favorite being my own doggy daycare business that I had for six years. The plan was to have a business at home that I could work on my art. Well the dogs had other plans like going to the beach and trail hiking all day. But I didn't mind at all. I love contributing to the welfare of animals as much as I can. I enjoy volunteering at local wildlife rescues. And I contribute a portion of all of my original art sales to animal welfare organizations around the globe.
